Take some lemon or orange peels (I imagine just about any citrus peel will work) and add them to a pot. Cover the peels with water and boil until the peels become mushy. Pour the resulting mixture in a blender and blend for 30 seconds or so. Strain the solids out of the mixture. Fill up a spray bottle with the citrus water. Use the spray on the pet itself (avoiding the eyes of course) as well as the pet's bed and/or favorite spot on the rug. Repeat every couple of weeks.
