When it's done, dump down kitchen drain (keeps it smelling better as well). Make 2 to 3 pots of just water through the machine, changing the filter for each pot to ensure it's really cleaned out. Keeps my coffee tasting better and can extend the life of your coffeemaker. I accidently came across a product called Lemi Shine (purchased at Walmart). It is actually a product for your dishwasher but it works wonders on glass and shower doors ect. Combine the Lemi Shine with about 1 cup of vinegar and equal parts water. IT IS A MIRACLE! Just spray it and you will see the scum start to just melt away. I tell everyone I know about it. I keep the solution in a spay bottle and clean my showers once a week. A bottle costs about $3 so it is very economical. Submit your own comment!
