Use a lint roller, simply roll it all over your dog, when full simply unwrap roller to clean section and keep going. One thing to note is this does not kill the fleas/ticks, so when you take the section w/them on it off roller place in bucket of water for an hour or so to drown the pesky things. Again I buy my lint rollers for this kind of stuff at the local $.99 Only store, get 2 for a buck. You may have to still hand do a few but this way will get the majority quickly.
